It’s only been 2 year’s since Xiaomi launched its TVs in India and within 2 years, they have become the number 1 seller for TV online.
That’s only because they are offering really great panel for a really low price and the Mi 4x 65 Inch 4K TV is no exception.
So without any further delay let’s start this Mi 4x 65 Inch 4K TV Review.
The Mi TV 4x has been launched 3 sizes the 43 inches, 50 inches and the 65 inches.
I have already reviewed the Mi TV 4x 50 Inch and you can also check it out by clicking here.
To be honest most of these televisions are all most same with respect to the specifications but of course, this Mi TV 65 inch does get some additional features including the wide colour gamut display which we will talk later in this review.
The panel of Mi TV 4x is manufactured by LG which is a 4K IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160px.
It also supports 10-bit HDR and with this HDR panel, you can watch all HDR content on Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Which is really good and the HDR content looks really great on this TV.
The refresh rate of this TV is 60Hz and has the display has a brightness of 500nits.
Now my complain with this Mi is the display could have had a refresh rate of 120Hz which would have enhanced your gaming and sports watching experience but still the display looks nice and I don’t think you would have any complaint with this display.
This TV also has reality flow engine which is specially designed to work with the chip which will help you if you are viewing online content by giving you a more smooth experience and clear image.
When it comes to the sound quality of this TV you will get 20 watts, speakers.
Which is a massive upgrade from the previous Mi models.
You will get 4 speaker’s 2 on the right and 2 left sides of the TV along with Dolby audio and DTS-HD decoder.
There is also a 2.25-inch buffer so you will get good and deep bass.
So overall this TV can deliver you a more immersive sound experience but one thing that you need to keep in mind is that if you are buying this 65 inch TV then that means you are going to put this TV in a big room and in order to get a more theatre-like experience I would recommend you to buy a soundbar.
Another big difference which you are going to see in the build quality of this TV is in the 55-inch variant the bezels are made up of plastic.
While in this Mi TV 4x 65 Inch variant you will get a sleek brushed metallica bezel.
The back of this Television is still made with plastic but from the front, this TV looks a lot more premium.
This TV can run on two operating systems first the standard Google OS and second Xiaomi Patch wall OS.
Patch wall comes with a preview of a live TV show, music and movies.
If you are not comfortable with Xiaomi patch wall interface then you do get the option of Stock Android OS which is running on the latest Android Pie.
Being an Android TV you will get Official Google Play Store from where you can download tons of Games and Apps.
This TV comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The TV also gets new MTK Cortex A55 Quad-Core processor and Mali 470 mp3 GPU which will enhance the performance of your TV.
Which you can easily notice in your day to day usage of the television that the TV response is very impressive and apps also load very fast.
According to Xiaomi a lot of people still don’t have access to Wifi connection in India.
So Mi 65 inch 4x also comes with data saving mode which will help you if you are using hotspot.
You can set daily data limit in this TV for 500mb or 1gb and the TV will notify you when the daily data limit is reached.
Another cool feature about this data saving mode is if you set you data requirement per day then it will compress everything that you are watching on the server-side and will send information to the TV in a more compressed size which will help you consume fewer data.
MI 4x TV comes with wide ports option such as:
